Ovation TV will debut another season of Designer People, which features cutting-edge designers, on February 1. Designer People will be featured as part of Ovation's week-long Drop Dead Design event. The series is hosted by designer and artist Amy Devers (Trading Spaces, Freeform Furniture, DIY to the Rescue). Designers featured in the new season include Marcel Wanders, Zandra Rhodes and Zaha Hadid. The series is co-produced by Ovation TV and DemonAngel. “We love working with Amy because she is not only a fantastic host, but she’s a designer in her own right,” said Kris Slava, the senior VP of programming for Ovation TV. “We are always looking for credibility along with on-screen talent and Amy is that rare and wonderful combination of both.
